Macedonian Under-21 striker, Dusan Savic has won the Macedonian Premier League title after a breakthrough season with FC Pobeda. The club managed to finish on top of the table ahead of the two big teams from the capital, FC Rabotnicki and FC Vardar. Pobeda could have pulled off a memorable double, but they couldn’t overcome Vardar three days ago in the FA Cup Final, losing 2-1. The club can now look forward to preparing for a season in the UEFA Champions’ League against the best teams in Europe.
Dusan Savic has been one of the key men behind the club’s success this year. He finished third in the Top Goalscorer Chart with 16 goals and there have been calls for his inclusion in the Macedonian senior national team.
