25-year-old attacker, Miguel has signed a contract with Spanish club, Burgos.
Miguel was disappointed not to be offered an employment contract despite some initial interest from teams in the Romanian First Division earlier this summer, but that may have been a blessing in disguise as that meant that he was available when Burgos came in for him.
Burgos have had several difficult seasons and find themselves in the Third Division, but it wasn’t too long ago when Burgos were playing in the Spanish Primera Division alongside teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona. The club is expected to be one of the top challengers for promotion this year.
Miguel spent last season with Real Aviles scoring seven goals playing mostly as a striker. He is expected to be used more as a wide midfielder with Burgos this season.
