Rolando Zarate scoring for Real Madrid

23-year old Argentinian striker, Rolando Zarate, has signed with Scottish Premier League club, Livingston.

Earlier this year Argentinian Premier League club, Velez Sarsfield, appointed Etar as its agent in negotiations related to 23-year old striker, Rolando Zarate.

Zarate started his professional career with Velez.  His goalscoring talent was clear to see and offers came in from the big European clubs for his services.  In the 1999-2000 season Zarate signed on loan with Spanish giants, Real Madrid.

His Real Madrid career started with the Real Madrid B team and he had a phenomenal season with them scoring 24 goals in 30 games.  This did not go unnoticed by the first team coaching staff and Rolando was moved up to the first team.

Despite having to compete against team mates like Raul and Nicolas Anelka, Rolando played 8 games scoring 3 goals during his loan spell with Real Madrid.

Zarate has now signed with Livingston.

Just after signing the contract, an offer was received from an English Premier League club but unfortunately he had already put pen to paper with the Scottish club.
