Serbian left full back, Zoran Belosevic, has completed his transfer to Slavia Sofia and is expected to go straight into the squad for the club’s first game after the winter break.
Belosevic joins Slavia Sofia after very successful one and a half seasons in the Bosnian Premier League. In the 2006-07 season, Zoran Belosevic finished third in the league and reached the Bosnian FA Cup Final with Slavija Sarajevo, qualifying for the UEFA Intertoto Cup in the process. This season has been even more successful this time with FC Modrica. He leaves Modrica top of the Bosnian Premier League table and in pole position to win the title.
Belosevic must now focus on the race at the top of the Bulgarian Premier League which Slavia Sofia is right in the middle of. The team from the Bulgarian capital is in third place at the half-way point of the season and has a fantastic opportunity to secure a place in the UEFA Cup for next season.
