Macedonia National Team goalkeeper, Filip Madzovski, ended his time with FC Rabotnicki on a high.  In his time with the Skopje team, he won two league titles, one silver and one bronze medal in the league, reached the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions’ League and this season reached the UEFA Cup first round going out to Bolton Wanderers in a closely fought tie.  During that period he played 122 domestic league and cup games, 9 UEFA Cup and UEFA Champions’ League games as well as 52 games for the Macedonian National Teams (Under-17, Under-19, Under-21 and the senior team).

Madzovski leaves Rabotnicki top of the League and will end the season with the current runners-up FC Milano, who are determined to secure a place in next season’s UEFA Cup in their first season after promotion to the Premier League.  In the meantime negotiations are already under way with clubs from around Europe about Madzovski’s signature for the start of the 2008-2009 season.
