Nigerian defender Babatunde Luqmon Adekunle has signed for Swiss Super League club, Luzern.
He makes the move to Switzerland after spending the last few seasons with Macedonian champions FC Rabotnicki. He leaves Macedonia having won the league title and playing a key role in the team’s good runs in the UEFA Cup and the Champions’ League over the last two seasons.
Luqmon will hope to bring stability to the Luzern defensive line in their fight to avoid relegation. The team finds itself bottom of the table at the halfway point of the season.
