25-year-old French defender, Steeve Joseph-Reinette, has signed for Slavia Sofia. He makes the move to the Bulgarian Premier League after a brief spell in Romania at the end of last season.
Slavia Sofia finished in ninth place last season and they have set their sight on a European qualification this time around. Manager Velislav Vutsov is expected to give a debut to the Frenchman in the season opener on Monday against Sportist Svoge.
Steeve Joseph-Reinette developed at the French National Football Institute in Clairefontaines and was a member of the France U19 National Team. He signed for French Ligue.1 team Guingamp in 2000 where he played until 2007. Joseph-Reinette is a member of the successful generation of players which came out of Guingamp in that period, including Didier Drogba and Florent Malouda.
