After a long contractual dispute with former club FBK Kaunas, last month FIFA’s Dispute Resolution Chamber ruled in favour of Macedonian International Muharem Bajrami. FIFA’s decision has given the 23-year-old the freedom to search for a new club and restart his career.
Bajrami has now decided to return to Macedonia with FK Renova.
He will be hoping to pick up where he left when he last played in Macedonia. Bajrami was one of the hottest young talents in the Macedonian Premier League which he left halfway through the 2005-06 season as the league’s top goalscorer with 12 goals. This was a fantastic goalscoring ratio for a midfielder.
He joins a club which finished third last season and qualified for this season’s UEFA Europa Cup, with hopes of doing even better this season.
