Zoran Belosevic and his club Slavija Sarajevo ended up on the losing side in today’s Bosnian FA Cup Final.
After a 1-1 draw from the first leg, their opponents, Siroki Brijeg, won the Cup with a 1-0 win in the second leg. The deciding goal came in the 69th minute and despite a late surge, Zoran Belosevic’s Slavija could not turn the game in their favour.
Just a few weeks ago Slavija looked to be on the way to winning a famous league and cup double but just missed out on both trophies. They now have to settle for UEFA Intertoto Cup next season. Despite this setback, this has been a positive year for Zoran Belosevic. The 23-years old Serbian international has continued to impress in the Bosnian Premier League with his consistent performances on the left wing.
