Slovenian midfielder, Denis Selimovic, has signed with Norwegian Premier League club Aalesund. This is the 27-year olds first contract with a foreign club after spending seven seasons in the Slovenian Premier League.
Dspite the setbacks of two unproductive trials with Bulgarian champions CSKA Sofia last season and Russian Premier League team Spartak Nalchik this season, Denis Selimovic has delivered top class performances for NK Primorje and has proven to be one of the main reasons for the club’s turnaround this season. His new club, Aalesund, are looking forward to an exciting season after winning promotion to Norway’s Premier League last year. Aalesund’s season opening game is on 7 April against Start.
