In a busy last day of the transfer window Bratislav Ristic has completed his move from Metallurg Donetsk to Spanish side, Malaga. During the transfer window, Ristic attracted interest from several clubs in other countries, but at the end settled on a move to Spain with Malaga. Malaga was relegated from the Spanish Primera Division last season and this year are among the favourites to win promotion and bounce straight back up.
Ristic signs on a one-year loan contract and Malaga have secured an option to buy as part of the deal with Metallurg Donetsk. As one of the leaders in assists in the Ukraine Premier League and with experience at the highest level, including the UEFA Champions’ League, Ristic is expected to be a key man for his new club this year.
It has been an eventful few months for Bratislav Ristic. Married on 9 June, and now completing a move to Spain. Being 26 years of age, Ristic enters a very important stage of his career and he would be hoping to make big strides over the next few years.
